I’m glad you stopped by. I’m the founder of Wonderwall Backdrops. This business was born because of people like you and me. The gonna-make-it-happen folks on a budget, with passion, vision, and determination. I have been in your spot before, and I had the same fearless mindset and gusto that you currently have.
When I first started planning my wedding many years ago, I wanted to save money and personalize the event by creating my own EVERYTHING. I spent countless hours researching and gathering supplies, only to find out that each project was much more difficult than I originally anticipated. The final result? Not quite like my Pinterest board. What did I end up with? A bunch of design pieces that I spent more money on versus what I would have had if I was smarter and rented what I needed instead. I was frustrated, and I was spending every bit of my free time stuck in a maze of crafting supplies. (Ask my husband about the “Great Hot Glue Gun Showdown of 1999.” I painfully hot glued my fingers together. I still have mental and physical scars.)
Fast-forward a few years... with many lessons learned, and skills fine-tuned at every turn. In that time, I have partnered with moms, dads, event planners, brides, mother-in-laws, parents-to-be, and companies of all sizes to provide design services for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, bachelorette parties, trade shows, and VIP events throughout the country— but mostly focused here in Annapolis, Baltimore, and areas all across Maryland. (Thankfully, no additional hot glue gun accidents in any of these locations.)
